The thing about staying in Podsolarsko is that you’re close enough to Šibenik to feel connected to everything, but far enough out to actually breathe. I mean, you can reach the historic center in just a few minutes by car, but when you come back to Leon, there’s this peaceful residential vibe that I actually preferred to being right in the thick of things. The area feels authentically Croatian — you’ll see locals going about their daily routines, small gardens, that sort of genuine neighborhood atmosphere that’s getting harder to find near tourist zones.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment itself surprised me with how thoughtfully it’s set up. It’s not huge, but everything has its place, and the kitchen is actually functional — I’m talking real counter space and appliances that work properly, not just for show. The room layout flows well, and there’s enough storage that you don’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase. What really stood out was the attention to cleanliness and the quality of linens and towels. Sometimes four-star places can feel a bit tired, but Leon feels fresh and well-maintained.

Here’s what I appreciated most — the little things that make a difference when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The Wi-Fi works reliably (tested it for work calls), the air conditioning keeps things comfortable even during those sticky August afternoons, and the shower has proper water pressure. The windows are well-insulated, so despite being in a residential area, it stays quiet at night. There’s also enough natural light during the day that you don’t feel like you’re hiding in a cave, which can happen with some apartment rentals.

  Великолепные апартаменты. Есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Кухня оборудована идеально. Продумано абсолютно все для приготовления еды с удовольствием. Есть свой дворик, где можно полежать в тишине или, наоборот, провести время с компанией.
  Месторасположение отличное. Великолепный пляж в пешей доступности (9-10 минут). Магазины также в пешей доступности.
  Разнообразные кафе и ресторанчики.
  Огромная благодарность владельцам апартаментов. Кроме комфорта и уюта мы получили великолепный сюрприз – торт на День рождения нашего сына.
