It’s one of those three-star places that punches way above its weight, honestly. The building itself has that authentic Croatian charm without trying too hard to be touristy.

Here’s what I love about the location — you can stumble out the door and be at St. James Cathedral in about two minutes. The narrow cobblestone streets wind around you like something out of a fairy tale, but you know what? You’re not fighting crowds of tour buses because Šibenik still feels refreshingly undiscovered compared to Dubrovnik or Split. Morning coffee at the nearby café becomes this lovely ritual where you’ll start recognizing the same faces. The harbor is close enough that you can hear the gentle lapping of boats, which is actually pretty soothing at night.

The Space Itself

The apartment feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room. Everything’s clean and well-maintained, though don’t expect fancy amenities — this is about location and comfort, not high-end finishes. The kitchen is compact but functional, which comes in handy when you pick up fresh seafood from the morning market (seriously, do this). Windows open to those characteristic stone walls and red-tiled roofs that make every photo look like a postcard. Air conditioning works well, which you’ll appreciate during those humid summer evenings.

What the guidebooks don’t tell you is that staying right in the old town means you experience Šibenik’s rhythm differently. Early mornings are yours — the streets are empty, perfect for photography or just wandering. By evening, the stone squares fill with locals enjoying their evening stroll, and you become part of that scene rather than just observing it. The nearby restaurant Pelegrini (Michelin-starred, actually) is walking distance, but honestly, some of my best meals were at the family-run konobas tucked into these same medieval streets.

  Nice, clean apartment in the beautiful old town. Easy to approach even with heavy luggage (as there is a public garage very near). The owner lady is nice and only present when she is needed. The beach and the furthest (and cheapest) parking lot is in 22 min walking distance (tested). There are restaurants and shops very near to the apartment, some of those are even on the same street. AC is functional and helped a lot.

  This property is in Old Town but extremely well located and easy to find. Abundance of restaurants, and city sites all within very easy walking distance. The apartment has a small patio, separate bedroom, living room, kitchen. It gets wonderful light all day long. The apartment is also impeccably clean on every level and has everything you could possibly need for a great stay. We were greeted by the warm host with a wonderful cake upon arrival. So far the nicest accommodation we have had in the last 6 months of travel.
  
  What could be improved: Absolutely NOTHING about this property we did not like. It was wonderful! Highly recommend.
