Here’s the thing about location in Šibenik — it’s not just about being central, it’s about being in the right part of central. This place nailed it completely. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James, and the old town’s stone streets are right at your doorstep. I actually timed it — two minutes to reach the main square where all the evening action happens. The locals weren’t kidding when they gave this spot a 9.5 location score, and honestly, after spending time here, I get why couples rate it so highly for romantic getaways.

The Space Itself

The room setup is pretty clever — it’s got that apartment-style layout that gives you way more breathing space than your typical hotel box. There’s a proper kitchenette where you can actually cook something decent (I made coffee every morning and grabbed fresh ingredients from the market nearby). The whole vibe feels like staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel chain. Windows face the street, so you get those lovely Croatian morning sounds — church bells, café chatter, the occasional scooter buzzing by.

There’s a bakery literally around the corner where I grabbed pastries most mornings — the kind of place where the owner starts recognizing you after day two. The evening passeggiata (locals call it šetnja) happens right outside your door, so you can people-watch from the window or just step out and join the flow. It’s that perfect balance where you’re in the thick of things but can retreat to your own quiet space whenever you need it.

Look, this isn’t about fancy amenities or over-the-top service — it’s about getting the fundamentals absolutely right. The 9.2 rating makes total sense when you experience how effortlessly everything works here. You wake up in the center of one of Croatia’s most beautiful historic towns, you’ve got the freedom of your own space, and you’re paying three-star prices for what feels like a much more premium experience. I mean, when couples consistently rave about a place, there’s usually something special about the atmosphere, and this spot definitely has that relaxed, authentic Croatian coastal charm that makes you want to extend your stay.

  Sijainti aivan mahtava, rauhallista, heti rantakadun ja vanhan kaupungin tuntumassa, kaikki tarvittava kävelymatkan päässä. Puhdasta ja viihtyisää.
  
  What could be improved: Leivänpaahtimelle, mikroaaltouunille ja korkkiruuville olisi ollut käyttöä, mutta varustelu oli muutenkin jo kyllä loistava.

  Perfect location at the gate to the Old town, close to the local market, good pizza next door.
  Very clean and comfortable.
  Everything needed is provided – even salt and pepper if you fancy home made salad.
  Timely and easy communication with the host.
  Good AC as the heat wave was unbearable.
  
  What could be improved: Be prepared for few steps up – not a problem at all, but those with mobility issues need to know.
  Parking appears to be expensive everywhere in town. Daily ticket varied from 15-30e, but the fight for parking slot is real. We found a parking on the other side of the city center at 5euro/day which was perfect but 15min away from the apartment.

  Nice apartment, well equipped, centrally located, nice pizza place just next door. Cable Tv available, all appliances provided.
  
  What could be improved: Little tricky to find at first arrival. No free parking nearby, great public parking across the street but for money. There are stairs to climb, might be difficult for elderly people or parents with baby strolls, otherwise no sweat.

  Mieszkanie bardzo czyste i komfortowe, kuchnia jest w pełni wyposażona, wygodne łóżka, jest klimatyzacja i dodatkowo wiatraki, pojemne szafy i komody, niczego nam nie brakowało. Pomimo lokalizacji w samym centrum w mieszkaniu jest cicho. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem. Jesteśmy zadowoleni z wyboru!
  
  What could be improved: Parking w drugiej strefie jest oddalony od mieszkania o około 10 minut spacerem, do mieszkania prowadzą dość wąskie schody, byliśmy z małym dzieckiem i głównie dlatego było to dla nas uciążliwe.

  Апартаменты рядом с набережной и историческими памятниками архитектуры, рынок, магазинчик пекарня за углом. Лучше не придумаешь, но в тоже время в уединении. После насыщенного дня ты можешь отдохнуть в тишине и комфорте. Владелец и персонал любят своё детище . Супер. Нам очень понравилось. Спасибо большое за внимание!

  Top Lage-Innenstadt cca 20 Meter entfernt.
  Unterkunft war sauber und schōn, gut ausgestattet.
  Helena ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

  Ich empfehle mit guten Herzen weiter.
  
  Tökéletes fekvés, 20 méterre van a belváros.
  A szállás nagyon tiszta és szép, jól felszerelt.
  Helena nagyon kedves és segítőkész.
  Nagyon elégedettek voltunk, szívesen visszajönnénk.

  Très bon emplacement pour visiter le centre ville et la promenade du bord de mer.
  Appartement très propre.
  Hôte accueillante.
  Bonne literie avec un grand lit dans la chambre principale et un lit standard dans la seconde chambre.
  Volets occultants aux fenêtres.
  Cuisine assez bien équipée mais il faudrait ajouter un four micro-ondes.
  
  What could be improved: Une machine espresso serait appréciée ainsi que quelques sachets de thé pour le 1er petit déjeuner.
  Une 2ème clé serait aussi un plus quand on voyage en famille avec des rythmes de vie différents.
  Il faudrait un rideau occultant sur la porte d’entrée pour éviter que la lumière n’entre le matin.
  Il faudrait aussi des étagères dans la salle de bain pour pouvoir poser ses affaires de toilettes.
  Enfin, comme la climatisation est dans la pièce principale, il faut laisser la porte des chambres ouvertes pour en bénéficier.
