The building sits literally steps from Šibenik‘s historic waterfront, and I mean literally — you can practically touch the Adriatic from the front door. This three-star property has something genuinely charming about its understated presence in such a prime spot.

Here’s the thing about staying right in Šibenik’s old town — you’re not just close to everything, you’re actually living in the heart of it all. The Cathedral of St. James is maybe a three-minute walk, and those narrow medieval streets that everyone comes to see? They’re right outside your window. I’ve stayed in plenty of places that claim to be centrally located, but this one delivers on that promise in a way that actually makes a difference to your day. Couples seem to get this especially well — honestly, it’s hard to imagine a more romantic setting for an evening stroll.

The Space Itself

The apartment setup works really well here, especially if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two. There’s a proper kitchen that’s actually functional (not just decorative like some places), which comes in handy when you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local market and cook something simple. The room feels comfortable without being fancy — clean lines, decent space, and windows that let in plenty of natural light. I appreciated that they didn’t try to over-decorate; sometimes simple just works better.

What I really liked was how easy everything felt once you settle in. There’s parking available, which — trust me — is not something to take for granted in Šibenik’s old town area. The morning routine becomes this pleasant ritual where you can walk down to one of the waterfront cafés for coffee, then maybe grab some pastries from a local bakery. The whole setup just makes sense for travelers who want to experience the city like locals do, rather than feeling like tourists passing through.

  The apartment is located right in the heart of Sibenik right opposite to the sea promenade. It's a kind of annexe to a very famous bar/restaurant in Sibenik called Azimut. Infact the entrance to the apartment is in the courtyard of the bar/restaurant. In summers, the bar is operational till 2 in the night. Wasn't a problem with us since the window panes are more or less soundproof. However it can be a problem for light sleepers. The apartment is well equipped and the host takes super care of ensuring attention to the minutest of the details. The communication with the host was Swift and clear.

  Location is right in front of Saint Jacob church, in the heart of Sibenik, you will practically live in Azimuth Bar located right in the front of apartment. Do not expect silence…., sometimes in the night you'll feel pretty weird that you go to sleep at 23.00 and people right under your windows still have drinks and chat until 1-2 in the morning.
