Apartments Nove Crkve Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Apartments Nove Crkve, you immediately understand why couples give this place perfect location scores. I mean, you’re literally standing in Šibenik’s old town — not near it, not walking distance from it, but right in the thick of everything that makes this Croatian coastal city special. The building itself has that understated charm you find in these historic neighborhoods, where modern comfort meets centuries-old stone streets. It’s the kind of place where you can actually hear the cathedral bells from your window, which honestly adds more atmosphere than any fancy lobby ever could.
The Heart of Šibenik
What strikes you about staying at this four-star property is how effortlessly you slip into local life. Step outside and you’re already on the cobblestones leading to St. James Cathedral — UNESCO World Heritage site, by the way, and absolutely worth the two-minute walk. The narrow streets around Nove Crkve buzz with that perfect mix of locals heading to morning coffee and visitors discovering hidden corners. You know what’s great? You can grab fresh pastries from the bakery around the corner, then wander down to the waterfront without ever feeling like you’re doing the typical tourist shuffle from hotel to attraction.
The Apartment Experience
The apartments themselves feel more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed place than a typical hotel room. There’s actual space to spread out — something you really appreciate after a day of exploring Krka National Park or the nearby islands. The kitchenette means you can pick up ingredients from the local market (it’s right there in the old town) and prepare simple meals, though honestly, with all the excellent restaurants within walking distance, you might not use it much. The modern amenities blend seamlessly with the historic setting, and the Wi-Fi actually works reliably, which isn’t always a given in these old stone buildings.
Beyond the Doorstep
Here’s where the location really shines — and I get why it scored 9.9 for location. The ferry to the Kornati Islands leaves from the harbor that’s literally a five-minute stroll away. Want to explore Krka’s waterfalls? The bus connections are right in town. But sometimes the best moments happen when you’re not planning anything at all — like stumbling upon evening concerts in the cathedral square or finding that perfect spot along the medieval walls to watch the sunset over the Adriatic. The old town has this way of revealing itself gradually, and staying at Apartments Nove Crkve puts you right in the middle of that discovery process.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it balances independence with that prime location couples clearly adore. You get the privacy and space of an apartment with the refined touches of an upscale property, all while being positioned perfectly to experience authentic Šibenik. It’s not about flashy amenities — it’s about waking up in a place where medieval architecture frames your morning coffee and evening wine. The 8.3 rating reflects exactly what you’d expect: solid comfort, unbeatable positioning, and that rare feeling of staying somewhere that enhances rather than isolates you from your destination.
To book a hotel in Sibenik during jazz festival nights, visitors plan ahead to balance fortress concerts with Adriatic swims.

The house was stunning. A lovely place to stay close to everywhere and utterly charming. And a very comfortable bed with decent cotton linen.
Perfect space to be in the heart of Šibenik but not too far from car parks – Amanda from Croatia (9/10)
Great location, had everything we needed , cozy and the most important thing quiet as it’s on the ground floor our dogs didn’t hear too much of the loud bangs of fireworks so it was perfect. Some people might want more light but it was perfect for us.
