  Cottage in a very quiet village, at the end of the road. Like an aunt's house in the countryside. approx.15 minutes by car to Sibenik or Drnis and Krka National Park. It is worth remembering that the village of Pakovo is located at an altitude 255mASL and from sea side there is mountain ridge, so the weather may vary between Sibenik and Pakovo. During our stay, we could see rain clouds coming from the direction of Drnis and Bosnia, but not a single cloud reached Pakovo, or it rained in Pakovo and not a drop in Sibenik. Bicycles are a great addition for those who wanted to ride and explore the area. There are bicycle routes and trails around that are quite demanding for the mountainous terrain. Good standard of kitchen, bathroom and equipment. The pool met expectations, a great alternative on hot days instead of crowded beaches. There was everything you needed in the house. We only used the front of the house, there was no need to use the terrace at the back and BBQ. The shop in the village is well equipped.
  
  What could be improved: It is written as a house for 6 people, but it is a house for a couple or a maximum of 4 people.

  Everything was perfect! Comfortable house with everything you might need, nice pool & bbq area. Everything was super clean and well furnished. Quite and friendly neighborhood. There are lots of animals around, we met sheep, horse, turtle, chicken and friendly dogs. The place is pets friendly, our golden retriever liked the stay also. There were bicycles that we used to take a ride. We really enjoyed our stay in a luxury house with village vibes.

  This is a self sufficient property with loads of amenities and well furnished rooms. The location is remote and you need a car for sure to stay here. However, the nearest big town Drniš is 15 minutes by car and there are supermarkets 7-10 minutes by car around this location. Make sure to make a quick stop at one of these before going to the house especially if checking in later in the evening so that you are stocked up for the next day.
  The swimming pool was truly amazing and we used it everyday after the owner fixed the heating on the 2nd day. We got a lot of bees visiting us by the pool during the day looking for water but if you ignore them, they don’t really do anything except minor annoyance about making sure that you don’t step on them by mistake.
  We really appreciated the joys of having a private pool with a small playground, table tennis, badminton etc. This is a great place if you don’t want to be in the middle of large crowds in the touristy towns. The drive to lovely Sibenik is 25 minutes, where we landed up spending three evenings eating out. Stay at this place, if you want peace and quiet and a house with a pool all to yourselves. The owner is attentive to your concerns and will do what he can to help. He even gave us craft beer, prosciutto and cheese made by his friends as gifts.
  There are both washing machine and tumble dryer so no need to carry a lot of clothes. The kitchen has all the utilities you would need to make food whether on the stove or the oven or even microwave oven. We did not use the outdoor barbecue but it looked quite nice. There is plenty of storage space for clothes. The bed in the bedroom downstairs is very comfortable. The owner provided enough towels for our stay of 9 nights so that we could use both for beach trips or at the pool. The pool furniture is great and comfortable. There is an extra bathroom and kitchen with additional utilities in the garage by the house making it spacious.
  
  What could be improved: Everything was great about this place except for three things we would like to point out.
  The second bedroom, is on a mezzanine floor that has a rather steep staircase with a rail that has a big gap between the steps. This was not ideal for us as we were staying here with our 8 and 4 year old kids. We landed up giving the ground floor bedroom to our children as we didn’t want to risk them falling down in the middle of the night. This place is ideal for families with bigger kids. This is probably our mistake as we didn’t understand while booking that the 2nd bedroom was on a mezzanine floor with ladder like stairs.
  There was only one air conditioner in the whole house, which we were suggested we should have turned on 24/7. Even after trying that a couple of times, it gets super hot during night in the summer in the 2nd bedroom in the mezzanine floor. There is a fan provided but it was very noisy and not an option for us so it was hot sleeping there for us. The master bedroom on the ground floor is also quite hot as the air conditioner doesn’t cool it down if you have the door closed. So the door needs to remain open. There is a third option of turning the sofa-bed into a bed to avoid sleeping upstairs but I have a weak back which makes it difficult for me to sleep on sofa-beds.
  Lastly, there is a terrace behind with a nice table and chairs around to use for eating outside. A big downside is that there is a birds nest right above the table from where bird droppings land up in your plate or the table. We landed up not using that area at all. We have also pointed this out to Matko and hopefully he will do something about it.
  Again, this is a lovely place and ideal for families with bigger children. We ended up having a good time anyway as the heated pool did the biggest magic trick for us to make it fun.

  Natürlich in aller erster Linie der beheizte Pool, der es uns ermöglicht hatte in der Jahreszeit von Ende April bis Mitte Mai, problemlos jeden Tag baden zu gehen.
  Die Lage ist top, etwas abseits von Sibenik (15 min), jedoch extrem ruhig und perfekt für Erholung.
  Auch für Regentage ist vorgesorgt: Tischtennisplatte mit Equipment, Federball, Dart, UNO, Smart TV (hervorragendes WLAN), Spielzeuge für Kleinkinder (unser Sohn ist 4 Jahre alt und hat sich pudelwohl gefühlt, insbesondere liebte er die Schaukel). Des weiteren stehen zwei Fahrräder für Frau und Mann zur Verfügung plus auf Wunsch ein Kinderfahrrad (hatten jedoch unser eigenes dabei). Zu guter Letzt muss man auch die allgemeine Ausstattung des Hauses loben, es war wirklich alles vorhanden. Matko, der Besitzer, ist auch ein sehr herzlicher und hilfsbereiter Mann. Wir freuen uns bereits jetzt auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt im wunderschönen Pakovo Selo.

  What could be improved: Pas grand chose. Éventuellement, 2 ème chambre qui est dans une mezzanine. Le top serait qu elle soit fermée.

  Sehr gemütlich. Wenn man sich an dem Zimmerproblem nicht stört, kann man je geniale Zeit hier haben.
  Es ist sehr sauber und ruhig. Wir haben keine Utensilien vermisst, alles was wir brauchten war da.
  
  What could be improved: Die Zimmer sind hellhörig.
  Das Zimmer unten hört eigentlich alles vom Zimmer was oben drüber ist.
  Das Zimmer oben hat keine Tür. Beim herunterklettern über die Leiter muss man aufpassen, besonders nachts. Es ist nicht leicht das obige Zimmer zu lüften.

  Mirna lokacija, savršena za obitelji s malom djecom i psom. Vlasnik objekta je ljubazan i uvijek dostupan, redovno se javlja da provjeri dali je sve u redu i treba li ikakva pomoć. Uživali smo obiteljski svaki dan odmora, i sigurno se vidimo i slijedeće godine 🙂
