Walking up to MEDITERANA Art Deco Resort, you immediately get why this place has such incredible ratings. The Art Deco styling isn’t just a gimmick — it’s thoughtfully executed throughout the property, creating this elegant yet relaxed atmosphere that feels distinctly Croatian but with sophisticated international touches. Honestly, the 9.8 rating makes perfect sense once you see how much attention they’ve paid to every detail. The resort’s commitment to excellence is evident in every corner, from the meticulously maintained gardens to the carefully curated artwork adorning the walls.

Location & Getting Around

The resort sits in Šibenik, and I have to say, couples absolutely nail it when they give this location a 9.5 rating. You’re close enough to explore the UNESCO-listed old town with its stunning cathedral, but far enough out to feel like you’re in your own peaceful bubble. What really sold me though was the free private parking right on site — you know how stressful it can be driving around Croatian coastal towns looking for a spot, especially during summer. The strategic positioning allows guests to enjoy both cultural immersion and tranquil relaxation without compromise.

The Accommodations

My room had that perfect balance of Art Deco glamour and modern comfort that’s actually hard to pull off. The design elements felt authentic rather than theme-park-ish, if you know what I mean. Everything worked seamlessly — from the air conditioning (crucial in Croatian summers) to the surprisingly spacious bathroom. The views vary depending on which side you’re on, but honestly, even the garden views are lovely since the landscaping is so well maintained. Each apartment is individually decorated with period-appropriate furnishings and modern conveniences, ensuring every stay feels uniquely memorable.

Dining & Amenities

The on-site restaurant deserves special mention — they do this fantastic job of elevating traditional Dalmatian cuisine without making it feel pretentious. I mean, when you can get fresh fish that was probably swimming that morning, paired with local wines, you’re already winning. The four-star rating feels right for the level of service and amenities, though the experience often feels more premium than that suggests. Guest kitchen facilities are also available for those who prefer to prepare their own meals. The culinary team sources ingredients from local markets, ensuring authentic flavors that celebrate the region’s rich gastronomic heritage.

  Ubytování s exkluzivním výhledem, pohodlné a bezpečné parkování, check-in s usměvavým majitelem Robertem příjemný a věcný. Apartmán 301 v patře, schody nenáročné, už na chodbě je zřetelný styl a luxus. Vstupujeme – wow: bílá, černá, zlatá a dřevěné obklady, na podlaze velkoformátová dlažba, v rohu luxusní černá rohová pohodlná pohovka se stolkem sladěná s nízkou komodou, v centru jídelní stůl a stylové židle. Prim hraje kvalita, promyšlený koncept a špičkové řemeslné zpracování, veškerý inventář jak nový, všude čisto, naleštěno, příjemně. Plně vybavená kuchyňská linka obstojí i při větších plánech, nechybí myčka a zcela tichá velká lednice s mrazákem. Ložnice s ohromným úložným prostorem, velké dvoulůžko s vysokou pohodlnou středně tvrdou matrací, příjemným povlečením, lehkou přikrývkou a polštářky tak akorát, v noci v domě i okolí naprosté ticho – spí se tu skvěle, přes celostěnové balkonové dveře ráno pozorujeme mořskou zátoku, skvělé. U lůžek jsou lampy na čtení a zásuvky 220 V, těch je všude dostatek. V obou místnostech jsou nezávislé klimatizace a osvětlení z několika zdrojů, chválím velmi rychlou stabilní wi-fi a 55“ TV s přístupem ke streamovacím službám. Koupelna walk-in v černém obkladu je skvostná, s přirozeným odvětráním a obřím odkládacím a úložným prostorem, super. Největší devizou pro nás byl ale velký balkón s křesílky, stolkem a lehátky … a kouzelným výhledem na mořskou zátoku. K moři to je slabých pět minut nenáročné chůze z/do mírného kopce, pláž nádherná, písečná s pozvolným vstupem do moře, 1.května už tu bylo živo, překvapila nás příjemná koupací teplota vody – skvělý předsezonní relax, moc se nám zde líbilo, určitě se vrátíme … zvláště když vidím právě dokončovaný velký bazén.

  We absolutely loved our stay in this appartment in Sibenik. We were there for 2 weeks, each day enjoying breakfast at our balcony with such a beautiful view of the sea, the little islands and the sailboats passing by. In the evening you can see the sunset from your balcony as well, gorgeous.
  The location is perfect, it’s around 5 to 15 min. walk to the beach, depending on if you want to go straight across the aparatment or a bit further. By car Sibenik center is 10 minutes and restaurants, bakery, other beaches and shopping center are also close by.
  Other nice places to visit like Split, Trogir, the Krka waterfalls and local wineries are also within driving distance.
  The apartment is beautifully decorated, airco in both livingroom as bedroom. It’s very comfortable and we felt inmediately at home.
  The owners, Robert and Petra, are wonderful, kind and welcoming people. We received a lot of information and recommendations from them on places to see and visit.
  We loved the appartment and location so much that we want to come back next year.

  Really enjoyed our stay, very new and clean place with stunning luxurious interior. Close to the beach (although a steep climb). Robert was very helpful with recommendations. Overall, is recommend!
  
  What could be improved: Like I mentioned to Robert, more mirrors in the apartment would be appreciated, as the one in the only bathroom was the only one and it made getting ready difficult. But that's more of a suggestion than a problem 🙂

  The host greeted us very warmly and was really welcoming and made himself available the whole time. The location is great, and the apartment is PERFECT.   The apartment was brand new, very nice, comfortably and luxury furnished with a nice terase and a sea view. The apartment is only 5 minutes away from the beach. A few meters from the apartment is a Mediterranean restaurant, where you can have a good meal.
