First Impressions

Walking up to N & D in Šibenik, you immediately get the sense that this four-star boutique hotel takes itself seriously — but in a good way. The building sits perfectly on Ulica Stjepana Radića, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if they’d planned it themselves. There’s something refreshingly understated about the entrance that tells you this isn’t trying to be flashy, just really, really good at what it does.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about where this hotel sits — you’re genuinely in the heart of Šibenik without feeling like you’re stuck in a tourist trap. The old town is basically at your doorstep, which means those morning walks to the Cathedral of St. James happen before the crowds arrive. You know what’s brilliant? You can actually hear the Adriatic from some spots around the hotel, and the medieval streets that wind through this part of the city feel like they were designed for evening strolls. Couples especially seem to get this — they consistently rate the location above 9 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally understand why.

The Rooms

The accommodations at N & D strike that perfect balance between modern comfort and Croatian character. I mean, you’re not going to find cookie-cutter corporate hotel vibes here — instead, there’s this thoughtful attention to detail that makes each room feel deliberately designed rather than mass-produced. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-marketing comfortable), and the bathrooms have that clean, contemporary feel without being sterile. What really impressed me was how quiet everything stays, even though you’re right in the center of things.

Service & Atmosphere

The staff here actually knows Šibenik — like, really knows it. Ask them about where to grab the best seafood or which time of day to visit Krka National Park, and you’ll get answers that feel like they’re coming from locals who care about your experience. The whole atmosphere leans upscale without being stuffy, which is harder to pull off than it sounds. There’s this relaxed professionalism that makes you feel looked after without being hovered over, if that makes sense.

Why Guests Love It

With an 8.9 rating, N & D clearly does something right, and after staying here, it’s pretty obvious what that is. The location gets consistently high marks because it genuinely delivers — you’re positioned perfectly to explore both Šibenik’s historic core and use it as a base for day trips along the Dalmatian coast. But beyond that, there’s this sense that the hotel understands what travelers actually want: a comfortable, well-located place that doesn’t try too hard but gets all the important details right. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay if you can, not because it’s flashy, but because it just works so well.

  Hele vriendelijke eigenaar, zelfs toen we de verkeerde nacht geboekt hadden kon dit nog verwisseld worden.
  Kamer heel ruim en proper, mooie tv, keuken met alle materialen die je nodig hebt

  Apartment is fully renewed, allthough small it has all necessary facilities for normal living. Walking distance (approx. 1 km) to the old historical city center.
  
  What could be improved: No dedicated parking lot for my motorbike – I needed to leave it on the street. But nothing bad happened – the neighbourhood seems to be safe – living area of the town starts here.

  The property is located within about a 10 minute walk to the center of Šibenik. The flat has been recently renovated and looks new, it includes all the amenities one requires like a dishwasher, washing machine, stereo, fridge, air conditioning, bathroom heating, coffee machine, electric kettle, hair dryer, kitchen and cooking utensils, etc. Although it's a studio apartment it feels very spacious. Dario, the owner, met us at the flat and was very friendly and helpful. I recommend this flat if you're staying in Šibenik!
  
  What could be improved: The building is a bit run down but the flat is nice. We stayed during the winter and the flat has heating but the floors feel cold so you should wear slippers. Parking is close but payable during the week, free parking is available within walking distance.

  Very nice and renewed flat with all the amenities that you might need. We arrived very late and Dario’s father waited for us to show us the apartment with parking. Unbelievable polite and helpful person. Also, we have faced some issues with the car and Dario helped us to make an appointment at the official service very quickly.

  Super appartement, close to bus station and city centre. Nicely decorated and fully equipped. Enjoyed every second. Dario was always available thanks for evrything and especially the restaurant recommandations. Will definitely go back next time i am in Šibenik.
