The room I stayed in had this perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort that’s hard to pull off. Stone walls — actual medieval stone walls — but with air conditioning that actually works (trust me, this matters in Croatian summers). The windows open onto the bustling street below, which gives you front-row seats to daily life in Šibenik. Sure, it can get a bit lively in the evenings, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. The bathroom was compact but well-designed, and the shower had proper water pressure.

Local Flavor

What really sets this place apart is how it connects you to the real Šibenik. There’s a fantastic little restaurant just two doors down that serves the best black risotto I’ve had outside of Venice — and the staff at Old Market Residence will point you toward spots like this that you’d never find on your own. The property doesn’t have its own dining, but you’re literally surrounded by options. From traditional konobas to modern Croatian cuisine, everything’s within a five-minute walk.

  The stay in this apartment by far exceeded my expectations. The apartment is comfortable and looks better and more spacious in real life than on the photos. The host Goga was perfect, very communicative and kind, and she helped us a lot with great tips about parking, shopping and events. The apartment is in the old town, in a perfect location and next to the apartment there are a lot of restaurants, shops, bars, so we did almost everything on foot.
  Unfortunately we stayed too short . We will definitely be back.

  Bardzo miła i pomocna właścicielka :), rezerwowaliśmy pokój 30 min przed zameldowamiem i wszystko sprawnie i szybko zostało załatwione. Lokalizacja na samej starówce, bardzo czysto, wyposarzenie w kuchni i łazience spełniało masze wymagania. Na plażę i tańszy niż przy starówce parking mieliśmy 15 minut spacerem.
  
  What could be improved: Klimatyzacja była w jednej sypialni przez co w pozostałych sypialniach było troszkę duszno ( w nocy temperatura na zewnątrz wynosiła 27 stopni Celsjusza) Brak bezpłatnego parkingu.

  Apartman is really clean and has everything you need. Location is excellent, you can walk to all sights, and there is even a grocery shop near by if you need something.
