I mean, the location alone — you’re literally in the beating heart of Šibenik, and I’m not exaggerating when I say you can practically touch the medieval walls from here. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, which honestly feels refreshing after seeing so many over-the-top hotel facades.

Here’s what you need to know about staying right here — everything worth seeing is within a few minutes’ walk. The UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James? Two minutes, maybe three if you stop to take photos. Those narrow cobblestone streets that wind up toward the fortress? You’re already on them. What I love is that you get to experience Šibenik like locals do, not as some tourist trapped in a resort bubble.

Early morning coffee runs, evening strolls to the waterfront, spontaneous discoveries of hidden courtyards — it all just happens naturally when you’re staying this centrally.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this perfect balance of modern comfort and Croatian character. You know what struck me most? The attention to details that actually matter — really good blackout curtains (trust me, you’ll appreciate this), solid Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and a bathroom that’s genuinely spacious. The air conditioning works properly too, which might sound basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. From my window, I could see glimpses of the old town’s terracotta rooftops, and honestly, that view never got old.

Daily Rhythms

Mornings here feel special because you wake up to the sounds of a real Croatian town coming to life — not tourist buses or poolside music, but actual people going about their day. There’s a lovely restaurant just around the corner where locals grab their morning coffee, and the staff at Palace M always seemed to know the best spots for whatever you were craving.

I found myself coming back to the hotel between sightseeing just because the location made it so easy, and the lobby area became this comfortable home base for planning the next adventure.

  The Palace M apartment is truly a pearl in the core of Šibenik. The spacious, spotlessly clean, and high-end furnished apartment will leave everyone feels like at home. The amenities of the apartment are truly on the standard of the 5-star hotel and the attention to detail is on point. It is a 2 min slow walk to the sea and a 1 min walk to any heritage point of this Unesco city.
  Honestly, I will gladly look forward to coming back to Palace M as it left an impression on me and made me feel good.
