The apartment itself surprised me — it’s spacious and thoughtfully designed, which isn’t always a given in these historic buildings. The kitchen is actually functional (not just for show), so you can grab fresh ingredients from the morning market and cook if you want to. What really struck me was how they’ve managed to preserve the character of the old stone walls while adding modern touches that make sense. The room feels both historic and comfortable, which is honestly a tough balance to strike.

Practical Considerations

Now, let’s talk about getting around — parking in the old town is basically impossible, but that’s true everywhere in Šibenik’s center. You’ll want to use the public lots outside the historic area and walk in, which takes maybe five minutes. It’s actually better this way because you get to experience the city like locals do. The stone streets can be a bit uneven, so pack comfortable shoes. There’s a decent restaurant scene within walking distance, from traditional konobas serving fresh seafood to more modern places experimenting with Dalmatian cuisine.

  Absolutely FABULOUS Apartment located right in the heart of Old Town. We went in May so not too busy as it would be a little noisy with tours stopping outside to tell history of area. We were serenaded twice too by lovely man playing guitar!
  If one of you smokes you can pop outside to cafe next door for an early tea or coffee. The shower was really great too- nice and big and powerful. We used the hob for coffee and the fridge too – |(The bakery around the corner ( on main street) is fab and just across from Tommy supermarket for beers inc Non Alcoholic beers. Exceptional value for money, Comfortable, airy, clean. Hosts were so lovely on phone as took me a few go's to do door correctly ( dont press the button when laying palm on screen lol)

  What could be improved: Closest car park is quite expensive – 32 euros for 24 hours – apparently this is cheaper than other places in Sibenik but we paid 4 euros for 24 hours in Zadar…
