First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Sebenico Oasis of peace, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name — but wow, they weren’t kidding about the “oasis” part. This four-star property sits tucked away on Put Bioca, and the moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of calm that washes over you. The staff greeted me like I was an old friend, and I could tell right away this wasn’t going to be your typical cookie-cutter hotel experience.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re actually in Šibenik, not some tourist bubble outside the city. The location is pretty much perfect if you want to explore the old town and UNESCO World Heritage sites without dealing with crowds right outside your door. I mean, you can walk to the Cathedral of St. James in about ten minutes, but when you come back to the hotel, it feels like you’ve escaped to your own private retreat. Plus, there’s parking right on site, which honestly saved me so much hassle — anyone who’s tried to park in Croatian old towns knows what I’m talking about.

The Room Experience

My room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with this lovely blend of modern comfort and Croatian coastal charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathroom had everything I needed without feeling cramped. What really struck me was the attention to detail — fresh flowers, quality linens, and this gorgeous view that made me want to just sit by the window with my morning coffee. The air conditioning worked perfectly too, which you’ll definitely appreciate during those warm summer months.

Dining & Amenities

The breakfast spread was genuinely impressive — fresh local ingredients, perfectly ripe fruit, and some Croatian specialties I hadn’t tried before. The restaurant staff were happy to explain different dishes and even gave me recommendations for local wines to try. I spent quite a bit of time in their wellness area too, and the spa treatments were exactly what I needed after long days of sightseeing. It’s not huge, but everything they offer is done really well.

You know what sets this place apart? It’s that perfect balance between being close to everything but still feeling like a peaceful escape. The couples I met during my stay were all raving about how romantic and intimate the atmosphere was — and I can see why it gets such high marks for romantic getaways. The staff genuinely care about making your stay special, and they’re full of insider tips about hidden gems around Šibenik that you won’t find in guidebooks. When a hotel manages to feel both professionally run and personally welcoming, that’s when you know you’ve found something special.

  Die Unterkunft ist wirklich wunderschön – neu – geräumig und man hat soweit alles was man benötigt. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut – die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es sind genug Schlafplätze vorhanden. Auf dem Balkon kann man ebenfalls sehr gut entspannen. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Die Dame hat sich wirklich zeitnah bei fragen gemeldet und immer versucht zu helfen. Absolut liebevoll und sehr zu empfehlen. Unser Familienurlaub war wirklich sehr schön. 6 min mit dem Auto ist der Strand entfernt und 10min ins Zentrum.
  
  What could be improved: Das Klimagerät kann zwar super kühlen – allerdings ist es im Schlafzimmer nachts wärmer da das Gerät im Wohnzimmer hängt. Ein Besen , ein Schneebesen wären noch toll gewesen aber das ist wirklich nicht tragisch. Um die Waschmaschine perfekt zu nutzen wäre ein Wäscheständer super gewesen.

  incredible place with great owners. the accommodation is equipped with everything you need, it is very comfortable if you are traveling with children. it is not in a noisy part of the city, but there is everything you need nearby – a shop, a pizzeria. I will use their services more than once. 10 minutes by car to the beach or the city center. highly recommend!
