From Sineva, you’re perfectly positioned to explore both the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James and the fortress complexes without feeling like you need to plan military-style logistics. I mean, Šibenik isn’t huge, but staying here means you can pop back to your room for a midday break without it being a whole production. The bus station is walkable if you want to explore other coastal towns, and there’s decent parking nearby if you’ve rented a car — which I’d recommend for hitting some of the more secluded beaches around the area.
