  I changed my itinerary almost completely since Zagreb. Instead of going to Split, I decided to stay in Šibenik. I am sure Split is a stunning destination, but the heat and crowd made me want to stay in a quieter and less touristic town. Šibenik is perfect! With its quaint medieval old town and rich history, I couldn’t be happier. And Studio apartment Lidija definitely made my stay very very comfortable. The owners were so kind and helpful, giving me a lot of recommendations regarding restaurants and pedestrian island around Šibenik. I spent four nights here, giving me a relaxing time to visit all three fortresses ( St. Michael, Barone, and St. John), and St. Nicholas fortress situated in another island. Because of the heat, I was the only one on the boat to St. Nicholas fortress ( where Game of thrones were filmed as well). It still feels surreal to me being the only person examining every step and arch and stone structure! I visited one pedestrian island Prvić, absolutely delightful. I am sure Zlarin is wonderful to visit as well, but the torching weather did put me off. The studio is situated in the center of old town ( which is small enough to walk around), close to everything, restaurants, bus station, ferry, etc. It‘s super clean, very quiet, and the bed is comfortable. Oh, the wifi and air conditioner worked perfectly.

  Läget är exceptionellt, mitt i Šibeniks gamla stan. Ungefär 10 min till stranden vilket är acceptabelt. Lägenheten är som på bilderna, fräscht och rent. Sängen är bekväm. Det lilla köket är välutrustad. Badrummet är toppen, gott om plats för egna prylar. Inredningen i hela lägenheten är super bra.
