You’re right in Šibenik, close enough to wander into the old town whenever the mood strikes, but far enough from the main tourist chaos to actually get some peace. What I really appreciated was having free parking right on site, which honestly saves you a headache and quite a bit of money in this part of Croatia. The couples who stay here seem to get it — there’s something romantic about being able to explore the historic streets during the day, then retreat to your quiet spot for the evening.

I actually found some of my favorite Croatian meals in the small konobas tucked away in the old town, places you’d never find if you were staying in one of those big resort complexes outside the city.
