What immediately caught my attention was how easy it was to find parking right on site — and it’s free, which is honestly a godsend in Croatia where parking can be a real headache.

The apartment I stayed in was actually quite spacious for what you pay. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything works and it’s spotlessly clean. The kitchenette is compact but functional — perfect for making morning coffee or heating up leftovers from one of Šibenik’s fantastic restaurants. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so centrally located. The owners clearly put thought into the practical stuff that matters when you’re traveling.

Location That Actually Delivers

Here’s where this place really shines — the location is genuinely excellent. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels that claim to be “centrally located,” but Apartment L&I actually delivers on that promise. You’re within easy walking distance of Šibenik’s stunning cathedral and the old town’s winding stone streets. The waterfront is just a few minutes away, and honestly, watching the sunset over the Adriatic from there never gets old. Plus, if you’re planning day trips to Krka National Park or the Kornati Islands, you’re perfectly positioned.

What Makes It Work for Couples

I can definitely see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something intimate about having your own little space rather than just a hotel room. You can actually cook a simple meal together, spread out your stuff without feeling cramped, and it feels more like you’re living in Šibenik rather than just passing through. The neighborhood has this authentic Croatian vibe where you’ll see locals going about their daily lives, not just tourists.   Marija der die Unterkunft gehört, hat uns am Tag der Anreise freundlich empfangen. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und haben direkt vor der Tür eine eigene Garage bekommen.
  Das Apartment ist in der ersten Etage und hat auch einen Aufzug. Wir sind mit unseren 2 Kindern 10 J. und 15 J. angereist.
  Marija hat bei der Ankunft Snacks, Obst und Getränke für uns vorbereitet, was super lieb war.
  Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind direkt vor der Tür.
  Links um die Ecke gibt es einen Lidl und auf der Rechten Seite gibt es Bipa (Drogerie) und Ultra (Supermarkt)
  Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wenn man irgendwelche Fragen hat, kann man sich jederzeit an Marija wenden, Sie antworten innerhalb weniger Minuten. Mit dem Auto dauert es nur 5 Minuten bis man unten in Sibenik am Hafen und in der Altstadt ist.
